I created a simple card sketch for last night's Mystery Stamping event. Then, I created these samples quickly and easily using a combination of retiring product, the Plaid Tidings patterned paper, and new stamp sets from the upcoming January-June Mini Catalog. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Have you taken advantage of the Giant Year-End Closeout yet? Nearly all of the beautiful stamps, papers, dies, and embellishments in the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog will be discontinued at the end of the year. Many of the items are on sale up to 50% off, but they are only available while supplies last and things are selling out already. So, if you want some of this awesomeness, better get it soon. One of the items in the August-December Mini Catalog that is retiring is the Brightly Gleaming patterned paper. This specialty designer series paper is absolutely gorgeous with its fabulous copper accents! If you haven't already gotten a package of this paper, what are you waiting for? And if you have gotten some, are you sure you don't need a little more? Lol. It's just so elegant and stunning. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.
The So Many Snowflakes dies are perfect for making Christmas shaker cards. The set comes with a cut out frame with snowflakes on the edges which makes a beautiful window for this shaker card. Here, I've used the Snowflake Splendor Suite with the Tree Angle stamp set and Stitched Triangles dies to create this special holiday card. So on y go! Let's get stamping.
To help line up the front of the card because I couldn't see it below the card base, I laid it square on a piece of grid paper. Then, I lined up the card base with the lines of the grid paper. To finish my holiday shaker card, I stamped the greeting with Pool Party ink on Whisper White cardstock. I trimmed it into a strip and adhered it over the window on the card front.
Did you know I offer a monthly online card class and game night? Usually, it's the last Tuesday of the month, but we did November's card class and game night last night. This month, I shared how to make 3 cards using the Coming Home and Peace & Joy stamp sets from Stampin' Up! including a gift card holder idea. Participants will receive their card kits in the mail in a few days and a few lucky winners will get prizes in their kits. Besides seeing great cards like these, we have a lot of fun playing games and chatting. I hope you'll join us for the next Card Class & Game Night on Dec. 29.
If you'd like to see how these cards were made, pop over to the On Y Go! Facebook Group and watch the replay. I hope to see you for the next Card Class & Game Night on December 29!
