The suite contains the Country Bouquet stamp set and coordinating punch, the Country Floral Lane patterned paper, the Country Gingham patterned paper, the Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo pack, and the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins. Items can be purchased separately or all together. If you buy the punch and stamp set as a bundle, you save 10%.
I shared these cards during my weekly YouTube Live this Thursday. I go live every week at 8pm Eastern on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Thursday night usually focuses on a stamp set or an advanced technique while Tuesday night's are designed for you to stamp along with me. If you missed this week's live, check out the replay to to see how I used the suite. I've got more photos and the full supply list below.
I have another great card sketch to share with you today for creating quick and easy handmade cards. Two of my sample card designs are simple stamping projects - just stamps, ink, and paper! The other design uses Stampin' Blends alcohol markers for coloring. They are all quick and easy to make though!
These cards were part of this week's stamp with me Tuesday. We did Mystery Stamping this week and it was so much fun! I have a FREE Quick Reference Guide for this card sketch below so that you can save it to use later when making your own cards.
If you missed Mystery Stamping, you can watch the replay. I go live on YouTube every Tuesday and Thursday night at 8pm. Tuesday night we rotate between techniques, Mystery Stamping, fun folds, and card classes. Every Monday afternoon, I share a list of supplies in my Facebook group to make the cards on Tuesday. I hope that you'll make plans to join me next week!
I also have the complete supply lists for these cards below, so be sure to click "Read More." Ok, on y Go! Let's get stamping.
Have you seen the new 2023 January-April Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!®? If you haven't, you can find the link over here. Isn't it gorgeous?!? So much good stuff in there!
The stamp set and die bundle that caught my eye right away is the Conversation Bubbles bundle on page 39. It's so modern retro and fun and different. And I've had so much fun working with it!
I shared this stamp set during a giant Mini Catalogue Launch Party that I participated in. Over 60 demonstrators shared presentations using almost all of the new stamp sets. It has been absolutely amazing! Don't worry if you missed it, you can still watch all of the video demonstrations. You can join the Facebook event here. And, I've posted my video here for you.
Now, I don't have tutorials for all of these cards, but if you want the tutorial for the card I shared in the video and the tutorials for all of the cards shared during the event, there is a tutorial bundle. All proceeds from the sales of this tutorial bundle will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. How awesome is that?!?
I love that these stamps can be used as just the outline or as a Two-Step Stampin' set. The outside is a bold outline while the inside has the look of a DistINKtive stamp. It works great for elegant cards like these with the Texture Chic patterned paper and for bright graphic cards like the ones below.
You can see how I made these elegant handmade cards, be sure to watch the replay of my live video. For the first card below, I did ink blending on the background, flicked it with water and Wink of Stella, and added a sentiment from the Framed Occasions stamp set. For the handmade card with the plaid background, I used the Dandy Designs patterned paper. This is another Sale-A-Bration item and available for free with a $100 order. Instead of coloring the flowers with the stamps, I used Stampin' Blends alcohol markers to create a vibrant color.
If you like fine line detail stamps, you are going to love the In the Country stamp set from Stampin' Up!® These stamps are available for FREE in January and February as part of Sale-A-Bration 2023.
I colored these images using three different mediums. For the upper left card, I used water color pencils for some details and a blending brush to add Sahara Sand to the main part of the image. In the bottom left card, I colored the road image with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. Finally, on the card on the right, I colored the image by watercoloring with re-inkers and a Water Painter on Shimmery White cardstock.
I did a really cool - and easy - cardmaking technique on the country road card to create the wood grain on the Soft Suede layer. Be sure to watch the video to see how it's done! This video is the last in an 8-part series showing all of the Sale-A-Bration 2023 freebies. You can pop over to YouTube to see the whole playlist.
