Happy National Thank Your Mail Carrier Day! Our mail carriers have been working harder than ever this year, so I slipped this thank you card into my mailbox for the amazing person who delivers my mail. On y go! Let's get stamping. Thank a Mail Carrier with this Easy Snail Mail CardI used the Snail Mail 12" x 12" patterned paper for the images on this card. I fussy cut the snails and their pile of mail and adhered them to a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I used the You Are Amazing stamp set for the bold greeting. I stamped the word bubble with Daffodil Delight ink, but I stamped it off on a piece of scrap paper first to lighten the shade. To give the eyes a little extra pizzazz, I added Shimmery Crystal Effects to their eyes. This card is the perfect thank you note to pop in my mail box for my mail carrier!

For last night's Mystery Stamping, we made a super simple card that is easy to adapt to different stamp sets. I've created a card sketch for you as well so that you can see the basic layout of this easy card design. If you haven't joined me for Mystery Stamping yet, make plans to join me next Tuesday at 8:00 pm eastern on the On Y Go! Stamping Facebook page. You'll want to join the group early so that you can get the supply list on Monday evening. Don't worry, you don't need specific stamps or papers. You can use whatever you have on hand! So, on y go! Let's get stamping. |
