Ink blending is already one of my favorite ways to add color to a handmade card, but this week’s Stamp with Me Tuesday technique takes it to a whole new level! I’m calling it Ink Blending Lift, and it creates soft, almost bleached-looking images on your background—perfect for adding subtle texture and interest. You’ll definitely want to grab your blending brushes and give this a try!

Sometimes the best creative breakthroughs happen when you tilt things just a little off-center. That’s exactly what we’re doing in this week’s Stamp with Me Tuesday! I’m showing you how to make an asymmetrical angled gate fold card—a fabulous fun fold where two angled flaps of patterned paper open to reveal a hidden message inside. This fold is quick, easy, and oh-so-satisfying to make.

The magic of this card is how the front opens unevenly—the left flap is cut lower than the right, giving it a dynamic, off-kilter look that still feels balanced. And because the top portion of the inside peeks out from behind the gate, it’s the perfect place to stamp something eye-catching. Keep reading to watch the video tutorial and see the full cardmaking process, plus two beautiful samples featuring Stampin’ Up!® products.

Ever find yourself staring at your stash of patterned paper wondering how to actually use it? This week’s Stamp with Me Tuesday was all about a super simple card sketch that might also be a technique—honestly, it’s a little bit of both!

We stacked three pieces of patterned paper and cut them diagonally twice—yes, all at once! Then, we shuffled the pieces to recreate a full rectangle on each card. The result? Three coordinated cards in no time flat. It’s an easy and satisfying way to dive into your paper stash and walk away with a whole trio of finished cards.
