Beautiful Handmade Thank You Card for Winter

Winter cards aren't necessarily Christmas cards. There are still lots of other card-giving occasions in the winter months. I made some thank you and thinking of you cards with the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set and Nests of Winter patterned paper from Stampin' Up!®️

Love and Thanks with a pair of Winter Birds

For this winter thank you card, I used the Winterly Tree Tops dies to cut out the birds from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. I love how easy it is to get these beautiful birds on the front of my card. I let the left side over lap the frame of the front but cut the branch on the right to match the edge of the paper.

Simple or Stepped Up?

Here are two very similar cards. They use the same colors, same papers, and same sentiment. But one was a very simple card that took maybe five minutes to make, the other is much more stepped up.

For the fancy card, I stamped and die-cut pussy willows and I cut some pussy willows from cardstock. I also fussy cut the bird to sit on the branch. 

Easy Thinking of You Card

For this easy thinking of you card, I stamped the birds and some extra willow branches. I colored them with Stampin' Blends and die-cut them with the Winterly Tree Tops dies. Then, I adhered them to a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that I embossed with the Birch 3D embossing folder.

I layered it all on a card base of Blackberry Bliss and embellished it with a few shimmer gems for a little sparkle.
