Create Elegant Handmade Cards for Summer with the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set

​I'm ready to escape to the ocean! Since that isn't going to happen anytime soon, these elegant handmade cards are a pretty good substitute. I used the Seaside Wishes bundle with the Country Lace patterned paper from Stampin' Up!®️ for these summer cards.

Elegant Thank You Card

I love how elegant a simple Basic Beige and Basic White color combination looks! This simple thank you sentiment pairs so well with the simply elegant colors. 

I stamped the large sand dollar in Basic Beige on white. Then, I embossed it with the Seaside Wishes embossing folder and cut it out with the coordinating dies. I also used the dies to cut out the bottom view of the sand dollars from Basic Beige cardstock. 

I adhered a piece of Country Lace Designer Series Paper to another piece of Basic Beige. Then, I adhered the die-cut pieces to it. 

Because I wanted the sentiment to be just a little darker so that it would be legible, I stamped it in Crumb Cake instead of Basic Beige. It's still soft, but dark enough to read.

I embellished the card front with a few Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls. I love the iridescent look of these pearls. They're so gorgeous! I hadn't really used them before this card, but they are the perfect addition to these sand dollars.

Handmade Thank You Card Tickles Me Pink

For this second thank you card, I added in some Petal Pink and Calypso Coral. These are also gorgeous with the Basic Beige!

I tore strips of the Country Lace patterned paper and adhered them to another piece of of the patterned paper. I also cut some of the seaweed pieces from the patterned paper. 

For the sand dollar, I swiped Basic Beige on the Seaside Wishes embossing folder. Then, I embossed a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and die cut it. 

Simply Beautiful Friendship Card

Here is a quick and easy handmade card that is simply beautiful. I started by stamping a piece of Basic Beige with sand dollars in white ink. Then, I added some speckles in Basic Beige. 

The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Basic White cut with the Nested Essentials dies. This sentiment I stamped in Early Espresso so that it's even darker. The focus of this handmade card is truly the sentiment.
