If you're looking for a fun fold card that's a little different but still easy to make, you're going to love today's project! This Double Flap Fun Fold Card has two front flaps that open one at a time before revealing the inside of the card, all held together with a coordinating belly band. It's interactive, elegant, and a wonderful way to show off your favorite patterned papers.

Double Flap Fun Fold Card with the Extraordinary Life Bundle

For my first sample, I paired the Extraordinary Life Bundle with the gorgeous Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper. I love the way this paper combines bold black and white patterns with soft rainbow colors, giving the card a modern yet cheerful feel.

The focal point on the belly band features the black frame from the Extraordinary Life dies layered over Flirty Flamingo cardstock with the "One Fine Day" sentiment in the center. I intentionally kept the design simple so the striking patterned paper could take center stage. While this could be used for almost any occasion, I especially think it would make a beautiful congratulations, wedding, or anniversary card.

Butterfly Double Flap Fun Fold Card with the All Aflutter Bundle

Soft colors and butterflies are always a winning combination! For this version, I again reached for the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper, this time highlighting the Pool Party, Petal Pink, and Flirty Flamingo patterns.

The All Aflutter Stamp Set and Punch create sweet butterfly accents that flutter across both the card front and the coordinating belly band. The layered butterflies add just enough dimension while keeping the overall design clean and elegant. This card would be perfect for sending a quick hello or simply letting someone know you're thinking of them.

Birthday Double Flap Fun Fold Card with the Scalloped Blooms Bundle

My final sample is a cheerful birthday card featuring the Scalloped Blooms Bundle paired with the beautiful floral patterns from the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper.

The warm Crisp Cantaloupe color palette gives this card a fresh, happy feel, while a few of the 2026–2028 In Color Flat Butterflies add the perfect finishing touch. The large scalloped circle on the belly band creates a beautiful focal point and makes this card feel extra special for celebrating someone's birthday.
