It’s gift-giving season, and that means one thing: we all need a go-to gift card holder. This week’s fun fold is one of those quick, easy, wow designs you’ll use again and again. The left half of the card opens like a traditional card, and tucked inside on the right is a perfectly sized gift card pocket. No fuss, no complicated measurements, and no origami degree required.

Whether you’re crafting for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, or just-because moments, this layout adapts to any theme and any patterned paper you love. Today, I’m sharing four sample gift card holders that showcase everything from retiring holiday favorites to peek-at-what’s-coming brand-new products.

Christmas Greenery Gift Card Holder

This Christmas version uses the Christmas Greenery stamp set paired with the Traditions of Christmas patterned paper. I stamped the delicate floral outline in Secret Sea, then used Real Red, Bubble Bath, Pool Party, and Old Olive to fill in the two-step cluster. The sentiment comes from the Holly Jolly stamp set - all three of these products are retiring and only available while supplies last.

Inside, the right side holds the gift card pocket while the left flap opens to reveal space for your handwritten message. The bold florals really shine on this design and make it feel festive and fresh without being fussy.

Sweet Jar Valentine’s Gift Card Holder

The Valentine’s version features the Sweet Jar stamp set - the one we’re using for the January Online Card Class. I stamped the jar in Memento Tuxedo Black, then filled it with Flirty Flamingo and Real Red hearts. A Real Red & White Baker’s Twine bow finishes the lid perfectly.

The patterned paper is from the NEW Made with Love Designer Series Paper, which adds soft Valentine hues without overwhelming the card. Sweet, simple, and so fun to tuck a little treat inside.

Lovely Blossoms Gift Card Holder

This soft, floral version uses the NEW Lovely Blossoms suite arriving as an Online Exclusive on January 6. I cut the focal floral cluster straight from the patterned paper and paired it with the Lovely Arrangements bundle for the sentiment. The color combo - Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, and Old Olive - is dreamy.

A bit of Old Olive Linen Thread and a few Moody Palette Dots add just the right finishing touches. This version is perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, or “thinking of you” notes.

Nature Walk & Gears Gift Card Holder

For this more masculine or modern version, I used NEW products again - Nature Walk Designer Series Paper in Pretty Peacock and Cloud Cover. I created a stamped collage with the Gears & Textures stamp set using Pretty Peacock, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, and Gray Granite.
