Easy Handmade Card from a Template

I LOVE using card templates for quick and easy cardmaking! These cards are based on a great card sketch that can work with all sorts of stamps and papers. We made these cards during this month's Mystery Stamping. If you missed it, you'll find the replay below with the step-by-step instructions for making this card using your own supplies.

Easy Card Template

Check out this easy card template! It will work for so many different stamps and papers. 

Here's the dimensions for this card sketch:

• Cardstock: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
  
• Cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”
  
• Cardstock: 2 5/8” x 3 7/8”
  
• Coordinating Cardstock: 2”-3” circle
  
• Patterned Paper: 2 ½” x 3 ¾”
  
• White or vanilla cardstock: ½” x 3 ¾”
  
• White or vanilla scrap for stamping and cutting
  
• Sentiment stamp, ink, adhesive, embellishments (optional)

Easy Summer Card

I used the Seaside Wishes stamp set and hybrid embossing folder and dies for this summer card. I used a little piece of the Country Woods patterned paper too. 

Instead of using a circle for this card like you see in the template, I used a sand dollar that I embossed and die-cut. 

Complete Supply List for this Beach Themed Card

For this beautiful butterfly card, I used the Sketched Butterfly stamp set and dies with the Full of Life patterned paper. Instead of having a stamped image as the focal point under the sentiment, I used die-cut butterflies.

The butterflies in the back are stamped with Peach Pie ink on Peach Pie cardstock. Then, I added a circle in Melon Mambo.

A Simple Note Card for Fall

Here is a simple note card for fall made with the Changing Leaves stamp set and dies. I'll be using this stamp set again on Thursday night and we'll be using it for the September Online Card Class.
