Have you ever admired the look of a beautiful quilt but thought recreating it with paper would take forever? The new Stitched Stocking Bundle and A Stitched Season Suite from Stampin' Up! make it surprisingly easy to create handmade cards with a cozy quilt-inspired style. Whether you're piecing together a stocking, showcasing the gorgeous patterned paper, or highlighting one of the quilt blocks, this suite does so much of the work for you.

In this week's video, I'm sharing three Christmas card ideas that showcase just how easy it is to create festive handmade cards with this collection.

Create a quilted Christmas stocking with the Stitched Stocking Bundle from Stampin' Up!®. This handmade Christmas card features pieced Designer Series Paper, Peaceful Pine ink, stitched ribbon, and festive buttons for a cozy quilt-inspired design. Quilted Stocking Christmas Card

The first card is the one we'll make together during the live video. The focal point is a beautiful quilted Christmas stocking created with the Stitched Stocking dies and several patterns from the A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper.

The dies cut almost completely through each quilt section, making it easy to snip the corners, separate the pieces, and assemble your own custom stocking. I adhered the patterned pieces onto a white die-cut stocking before layering everything onto a larger stocking die cut for extra definition.

The card base is embossed with one of the Seasonal Cheer mini embossing folders to add subtle texture without competing with the focal point. A circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and a sentiment stamped in Peaceful Pine finish the design, while the Mini Christmas Buttons and Real Red Stitched Ribbon add the perfect finishing touches.

Quick & Easy Quilt-Inspired Christmas Card

If you love the quilted look but want an even faster project, this second card lets the patterned paper do almost all the work.

One of the papers in the A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper already features a beautiful patchwork quilt design. I simply cut it to fit the card front, stamped the stitched border image around the edges, and added a sentiment cut with one of the Stitched Stocking dies.

A few of the coordinating Mini Christmas Buttons complete the design. It's a great reminder that patterned paper can often become the star of your card with just a few simple embellishments.

The beautiful patchwork patterned paper creates an eye-catching card front with a stitched sentiment tag and coordinating Christmas buttons. Visit my website for more holiday card making inspiration.
Create an elegant quilt block Christmas card with the A Stitched Season Suite from Stampin' Up!®. This handmade card combines quilt-inspired patterned paper, stitched dies, festive ribbon, and a layered Merry & Bright sentiment for a classic holiday look. Merry & Bright Quilt Block Card

For the final card, I focused on one of the individual quilt squares from the patterned paper.

I layered a Peaceful Pine die-cut panel over coordinating plaid patterned paper and added a strip of the Real Red Stitched Ribbon for extra texture. Then I cut one of the quilt block images from the Designer Series Paper and used the label die to add stitched detailing around the edges before layering it onto Real Red cardstock.

The sentiment was stamped, trimmed apart, and layered over the quilt block to create a simple focal point that really lets the paper shine.

This card shows another fun way to use the Designer Series Paper - rather than covering an entire card front, you can treat the individual quilt blocks like ready-made artwork.

Bring the Cozy Look of Quilts to Your Christmas Cards

The Stitched Stocking Bundle and A Stitched Season Suite offer so many creative possibilities. Whether you enjoy detailed die-cutting or prefer quick cards that let beautiful patterned paper do the work, this collection makes it easy to create warm, cozy Christmas cards with a handmade quilt-inspired feel.

Which of these three cards is your favorite? I'd love to hear in the comments!
