The Changing Leaves stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up!®️ are perfect for creating elegant handmade cards for fall. I shared how to do a really cool coloring technique with this stamp set during this week's Thursday Night YouTube Live. If you missed it, you can catch the replay below.

Easy Coloring Technique with Dots

Check out how cool this easy coloring technique looks on this large leaf! I started by stamping the leaf in Pecan Pie ink. Then, I grabbed my Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and I just added dots all over. I didn't try to make them in any pattern or fill in any specific areas, I just dotted. So easy!

Easy Fall Thank You Card

I love how simply elegant this handmade thank you note is! All three of these cards use the Country Woods patterned paper along with the Changing Leaves bundle. 

I stamped two large leaves with Crumb Cake ink and cut them out with the Changing Leaves dies. Then, I adhered them to a piece of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. I trimmed the edges and adhered the cut off pieces to the sides of the patterned paper to fill in the gaps. 

Elegant Textured Backgrounds

The Changing Leaves bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder. This means that there is an embossing folder and dies that work together. 

For this card, I embossed a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the embossing folder. If I'd wanted, I could have used the coordinating dies to cut out the leaves. I decided I liked them in the background instead.

​I cut some detailed leaves from the Nature's Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper for a beautiful gold shimmer.
