Plaid Perfection with Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake

This card combines cozy colors and beautiful textures for a warm and inviting design. The background features the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!®️, layered with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock embossed using the Starstruck embossing folder. The sentiment, “You and I make the best team,” is stamped and punched with the To the Point punch for a polished finish. To complete the card, I added hearts stamped in Petal Pink and Calypso Coral, fussy cut, and layered on the card front for extra dimension and charm.

A Fun Fold to Cherish

This fun fold card is designed to delight! The center flap on the front is smaller than the opening of a normal card, allowing you to see the patterned paper on the front when you open the card and making it perfect for someone special. The color combination of Old Olive and Lost Lagoon is fresh and unexpected for Valentine’s Day, and a great choice to create a card for the favorite guy in your life.

The sentiment, “Life is Better with You,” and its coordinating border are stamped and punched with the To the Point punch. A larger heart, stamped in Lost Lagoon and fussy cut, is layered over the border to cover the smaller heart on the bottom, creating a balanced design.

Soft and Sweet Layers

This card brings a soft and sweet touch with its Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake color palette. Using the second generation stamping technique, a large heart is stamped in Calypso Coral by first stamping off on scrap paper and then stamping onto the cardstock for a lighter look. The sentiment, “Lots of Hugs and Kisses,” is stamped directly over the heart, with smaller hearts stamped underneath for a layered effect. To finish, the card is embellished with Low-Profile Dots, adding just the right amount of shine and texture.
