There’s something so satisfying about a card that feels elegant but isn’t complicated.

This month’s February Online Card Class features the Lovely Arrangements bundle from Stampin’ Up!®, and we’re creating three handmade cards that focus on layering, soft neutrals, subtle texture, and smart die cutting. These are the kinds of designs that look polished – but are completely doable at your craft table.

If you love clean designs with a little depth and dimension, you’re going to enjoy these.

In this class, we create:
  • A neutral Thinking of You card
  • A fun fold Sending Smiles card
  • A clean and modern Just a Note card

Each one uses the Lovely Arrangements bundle in a slightly different way so you can see how versatile it really is.

Neutral handmade thinking of you card in Crumb Cake and white using Lovely Arrangements dies from Stampin’ Up!®. Features layered die cutting, subtle Stampin’ Blends shading, and dimensional texture for elegant cardmaking inspiration.

Thinking of You Card

This first card is all about soft neutrals and layered texture. I used the Lovely Arrangements dies to cut a decorative pattern from Crumb Cake cardstock and popped it up on the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. That little bit of lift makes a huge difference.

The focal flower is stamped in Early Espresso on Basic White. Instead of coloring the petals, I added soft shading around the image using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend and a color lifter. It keeps the flower crisp and white while giving it depth.

This design is calm, elegant, and perfect for sympathy, encouragement, or thinking of you cards.

Sending Smiles Fun Fold Card

This card is our interactive project for the month. I used the multi-circle die from the Lovely Arrangements set to create a layered front panel, then built a simple spanner-style fun fold behind it.

The Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper adds pattern without overwhelming the design, and I repeated the same soft floral look from the first card to keep everything cohesive.

One of my favorite little tricks on this card – I colored the Moody Palette Dots with the Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend so the embellishments matched perfectly. If you’ve never tried customizing your embellishments, this is your sign.

It’s a fun fold card that looks impressive but is completely manageable.
Interactive fun fold card using Lovely Arrangements and Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!®. Layered die cuts, soft floral stamping, and customized embellishments make this cardmaking project special.
Clean and modern handmade card in white and Cloud Cover using Lovely Arrangements dies and Lovely Stripes embossing folder from Stampin’ Up!®. Features layered die cutting and soft stamped floral focal point.

Just a Note Floral Card

This last card has a fresh, clean look using white-on-white layering and the Lovely Stripes embossing folder.

I added a die-cut multi-circle layer from the Cloud Cover striped Lovely Blossoms DSP to introduce just a hint of color. The flower is stamped in Secret Sea on Cloud Cover cardstock and lightly shaded for dimension.

This one is simple, modern, and easy to recreate with other color combinations.
