Have you ever wanted to take your handmade cards up a notch with a fold that’s unexpected but still simple to make? The Off-Center Gate Fold is a twist on the traditional gate fold that creates extra space for stamping and patterned paper while giving your card a little wow factor.

In this week’s Stamp with Me Tuesday video, I’ll walk you through how to cut and score this fun fold and show you how to decorate it for Christmas and fall. Supplies for the Gingerbread Man Card

Gingerbread Man Christmas Card

This is the card I made during the live video, featuring the Gingerbread Man bundle paired with the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper. The cheerful gingerbread is stamped in Early Espresso and colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends™, with rosy cheeks in Pretty in Pink. I added sparkle with Frosted Iridescent Dots for the buttons.

Inside, the sentiment “Season’s Eatings” is paired with a scattering of gumdrops in Pretty in Pink, giving this card extra sweetness.

Fall Thank You Card with Gathering Moments

For this autumn version, I used the Gathering Moments stamp set and dies with the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper. The large leaf die is extra special — it has an additional die that creates holes so you can stitch veins into the leaf. I stitched mine with Early Espresso Linen Thread for a beautiful handmade touch.

The sentiment is embossed in white on an Early Espresso circle and layered onto Cajun Craze. A few Streaked Dots finish the design perfectly. Inside, I layered another die-cut leaf so the stitching from the front looks neat and polished.

Bright & Modern Christmas Tree Card

This fun Christmas card features the Pine Tree Trimmings bundle with the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper. I used a blending brush to add Lemon Lime Twist ink to the patterned paper’s white trees on a black background for a bold, glowing look.

The tree image is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. I decorated it with Melon Mambo ornaments and a star, then tied everything together with Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine. Inside, more Modern Christmas paper frames the sentiments and stamped gifts for a playful finish.

This one is striking in person and really pops with the unexpected color combo!
