Gorgeous Handmade Christmas Cards with the Decorative Trees Stamp Set

The October Online Card Class featured three absolutely gorgeous handmade Christmas cards using the Decorative Trees stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up!®️ I paired this fun bundle with the Season of Green & Gold patterned paper for some very elegant looks.

Here's the step-by-step video tutorial for all three of these Christmas cards. 

Be Merry with a Handmade Card

I love how the Decorative Trees dies cut out layers that you can mix and match to create different Christmas trees. For this one, I cut the base from a piece of the patterned paper that matched the paper used for the background layer. Then, I cut the overlay piece with holly from Mossy Meadow cardstock.

To create the sentiment for this handmade Christmas card, I layered three strips of paper - one for the sentiment, one piece of patterned paper, and one piece of cardstock stamped with a swirly pattern.

Fun Fold Christmas Card with All the Bling

I pulled out all the bling for this fun fold Christmas card! I absolutely love the gold accents on the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series paper. I used the gold side for two of the layers on this handmade Christmas card. Then, I used gold foil for the plaid overlay on the Christmas tree on the front of this card.

This Z-Fold card has a front panel and a pop-up panel on the inside for the sentiment. This is definitely a mantel worthy Christmas card!

To add a little more bling to all of these cards, I added some Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to these cards. So shiny and sparkly!

Rustic Simplicity on this Handmade Holiday Card

While one side of the Season of Green & Gold patterned paper has gorgeous gold accents, the other has basic patterns in shades of green like this plaid. I always love a plaid mixed with Crumb Cake for a rustic look.

I embossed the front layer of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Timber 3D embossing folder to add a little texture to this handmade holiday card.
