What is an Off-Center Z Fold Card?

Ocean Friends Fun Fold Card

For the first card, I used the Ocean Friends stamp set paired with the vibrant Friends of the Ocean patterned paper from Stampin' Up!®️ The bright color palette features Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, and Summer Splash – perfect for an underwater theme!

Card Details:
  • Crab Image: To create a two-tone effect, I inked the inside of the crab stamp with Summer Splash and stamped off on scrap paper before stamping onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I stamped the detailed outline in full-strength Summer Splash ink. This technique uses just one ink pad to create a dimensional look.
  • Patterned Paper: The Friends of the Ocean paper adds a vibrant and dynamic background to this fun fold card, tying together the underwater theme.

Fruit Salad Birthday Card

The second card uses the playful and colorful Fruit Salad patterned paper, which is a FREE option during Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration! The individual fruit pieces were fussy cut and layered for a fun focal point.

Card Details:
  • Focal Point: I carefully fussy cut fruit images like pineapples, strawberries, and oranges from the patterned paper. These add a pop of dimension and make the front of the card truly stand out.
  • Sentiment: The sentiment is from the Saying Hey stamp set, stamped in Crumb Cake ink for a subtle yet warm look.
This card is a sweet way to brighten someone’s day!
