The wait is over – the January–April Mini Catalog is officially live and we wrapped up the final night of the launch party with one of my favorite releases. Yay! 🎉

If you love elegant florals, versatile dies, and layouts that look fancy without being fussy, the Lovely Blossoms suite is going to steal your heart.

One of my favorite things about this suite is how effortlessly everything works together – stamps, dies, Designer Series Paper, texture, and embellishments. Even better? These products are Online Exclusives, which means you won’t find them inside the Mini Catalog, but they launch the same day as the catalog and are available to order right now.

For the final night of the launch party, I shared one card live and three additional card ideas using the Lovely Blossoms suite. The live card also uses a card sketch, and I created three more cards with that same sketch using different stamp sets – check out that post here to see how flexible one layout can be.

Watch the Final Night Video Replay

In the video replay, I walk you through the live card step by step and then share three additional card ideas using the Lovely Blossoms suite. Pay special attention to the coloring tricks, layering tips, and large die usage – those are the things that really make these cards shine.

Lovely Blossoms Thank You Card – Live Demonstration

This thank you card was made live during the final night of the launch party and features Lost Lagoon and Pool Party.

Instead of using patterned paper, I created interest by die cutting two Pool Party pieces with the dotted die from the Lovely Arrangements dies and layering them as a vertical strip across the card front. I stamped the large floral images directly onto the card base in Lost Lagoon to create a subtle background pattern.

For the focal flowers, I stamped them on Basic White using Secret Sea ink. I outlined the flowers with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and then softened everything with the Color Lifter. This keeps the flowers mostly white while still adding definition so they really pop against the background.

Petal Pink & Crumb Cake Thank You Card with Lovely Blossoms DSP

This second thank you card leans into the softness of Petal Pink paired with Crumb Cake for a warm, neutral look.

The flowers were stamped in Secret Sea directly onto a subtle Petal Pink patterned paper from the Lovely Blossoms DSP and then die cut. I layered two of the small square patterns together to create a focal rectangle, mounted on Petal Pink and then Crumb Cake.

The background is Crumb Cake embossed with the Lovely Stripes 3D embossing folder, which adds texture without competing with the florals. A piece of linen thread adds softness, while the sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea on Basic White and cut with the Lovely Arrangements dies.

Three Secret Sea Moody Palette dots add just enough contrast to pull everything together.

Lovely Blossoms Birthday Card with Layered Floral Illusion

This birthday card is one of my favorites because of the layering illusion. The color combination of Secret Sea and Petal Pink feels elegant and timeless.

I started with a patterned paper that already features white flowers with Secret Sea leaves on a Petal Pink background. After layering that square onto Secret Sea and then another Petal Pink DSP layer, I stamped three flowers on Basic White in Secret Sea.

To make those flowers stand out, I lightly traced around them with the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend and softened everything with the Color Lifter. Once die cut, I layered those flowers directly over the printed flowers on the DSP. Because the printed flowers are slightly smaller, the stamped flowers completely cover them and look like they’re popping off the paper.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Secret Sea cardstock and cut with the skinny rectangle die from the set – a perfect fit for this greeting. Three Cloud Cover Moody Palette dots finish the card.

Hello Friend Card with Framed Floral Focal Image

This “Hello Friend” card is a great example of how versatile the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper can be. One of the sheets includes pre-designed rectangles that are perfect for quick focal images.

I trimmed one of those rectangles and then used the Everyday Arches dies to cut it into an arched shape. To keep one of the leaves from being cut off, I trimmed the leaf tip first and positioned it overtop the die before cutting – a fun little trick that lets the image break the frame.

The arched focal piece is layered onto a Secret Sea patterned paper with a Cloud Cover diamond pattern. I added Secret Sea open weave ribbon and gently pulled the edges to give it a soft, wavy texture before tying the bow.
