Ever find yourself staring at your stash of patterned paper wondering how to actually use it? This week’s Stamp with Me Tuesday was all about a super simple card sketch that might also be a technique—honestly, it’s a little bit of both!

We stacked three pieces of patterned paper and cut them diagonally twice—yes, all at once! Then, we shuffled the pieces to recreate a full rectangle on each card. The result? Three coordinated cards in no time flat. It’s an easy and satisfying way to dive into your paper stash and walk away with a whole trio of finished cards.

Kintsugi Designer Series Paper + Paper Tags Stamp Set

This paper is so stunning with its gold foil accents—it barely needs embellishing! I paired it with the Paper Tags stamp set for three elegant cards: a birthday card, a thinking of you card, and a thank you card.

For the birthday card, I inked the sentiment with Cloud Cover, then added detail with a Secret Sea marker to get that two-tone stamped image.
On the other two cards, I used Secret Sea ink and went back in with a Cloud Cover marker to shade the words.

Simple, soft, and just a little fancy

Birthday Card. Create a gorgeous birthday card with gold-foiled Kintsugi paper and a two-tone stamped sentiment using Cloud Cover ink and a Secret Sea marker. A quick, classy card anyone would love!

Thinking of You Card. Send a heartfelt message with this easy-thinking of you card design. The gold-foil patterned paper and gently shaded sentiment make it elegant and effortless.

Thank You Card. This handmade thank you card features soft colors and beautiful gold accents from the Kintsugi paper. The sentiment is shaded with markers for a subtle artistic look.

Adventure Together + Weekend Adventures DSP

This set of cards has all the outdoorsy, campfire-chic vibes! I used the Adventure Together stamp set along with the Weekend Adventures Designer Series Paper.

Most of the images were colored with Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, and Mossy Meadow to coordinate with the DSP.
Full disclosure: one card features a camper image I colored in Calypso Coral and Petal Pink. Let’s just say… it doesn’t quite match. 😅 Consider it a reminder that experimenting is part of the fun!

I had a blast with this combo of Boho Vibes DSP and the Sunshine Vibes stamp set (which we’ll be using for the July Online Card Class!). These cards are bright, bold, and a little bit boho.

I used different rainbow-inspired color blends for each background: Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, and Secret Sea.
The sentiments are simple—thank you, thinking of you, and hello—but the colors really make them pop.

Thank You Card. Say thanks with style! This handmade thank you card features a rainbow background and bold sentiment from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set.

Thinking of You Card. This cheerful card combines colorful layers and a heartfelt message--an easy and eye-catching way to show you care.
