Mix and Match Sentiments for some Fun Handmade Cards for Winter

One of the best things about the More Than Autumn stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up!®️ is the way that you can mix and match the sentiments to create different phrases. And believe me, this stamp set is for much more than autumn! I combined it with the Snowy Scenes patterned paper to create some cards for winter and beyond.

Hot Cocoa & Peppermint Season

Here's a fun card to celebrate the start of winter. There are so many fun details on this card! I used the uber popular peppermint embellishments on the hot cocoa cups. These are currently out of stock (again!), but are scheduled to return the week of November 18. They look so cute next to the the little candy canes on these cups. The sentiment was stamped by combining different stamps. 

A Spicy Handmade Card for Winter

Who's the spice to your eggnog? I couldn't resist creating this fun little phrase for a handmade card! Wouldn't this be great for a bestie or maybe a winter anniversary card? I don't know, but it kind of cracks me up. 

I layered a piece of Real Red cardstock that was embossed with the Forever Plaid embossing folder on the card front. Then, I layered the patterned paper on Real Red as well. I love the way it creates a slight frame that is tone-on-tone.

A Handmade Valentine's Day Card

I LOVE donuts! Like a lot. And so does my hubby. So I had to make this handmade card to give him. Maybe it will be for Valentine's Day or maybe it'll just be for whenever.

I created the box for the donuts by cutting multiple pieces with the Nested Essentials dies. I used two dies to cut the outside and the window of the front piece. I layered three of these pieces to create extra depth and I added a window sheet behind the top. 

I created the donuts and colored them in shades of Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, and Pumpkin Pie. Then, I cut them out with the dies and placed them on another piece of white cardstock that had been cut with the Nested Essentials dies before adding the top and tying the Baker's Twine.

But, the question remains, do I really love my hubby more than donuts? Maybe...
