Otterly Amazing Handmade Cards

In this week’s Thursday night YouTube Live, we had a splash of creativity with the Otterly Amazing stamp set and the Otterly Adorable patterned paper from Stampin' Up! These playful otters stole the show as I created a fun card live with you all—and I couldn’t resist sharing two more coordinating designs.

Otterly Adorable Valentine's Day Card

I'm loving this sweet little Valentine's Day card that would be great to give to your little one. The Otterly Amazing die set has this die with a school of fish. While you could cut the fish out and use them as confetti or glue them to your card, I cut them from the water-patterned paper and left them as negative space. Then, I layered the water piece on Calypso Coral cardstock so the fishes pop. I love this little addition to the card front.

Another Handmade Valentine's Day Card

Here's another handmade Valentine's Day card featuring two adorable little otters. To create their fur-like appearance, I colored the otters with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends. Then, I went over them with the Color Lifter - or as I like to say the Color Smoosher because it really smooshes the color around more than it lifts it. I added some rocks cut from one of the patterned papers that creates a fabulous rock texture.

Super Simple Handmade Card

Here's a super simple handmade card that you can make in just a couple minutes. One of the papers in the Otterly Adorable Designer Series Paper pack includes a number of different vignettes. I simply cut a piece out and used it for the front of this card. Then, I added the sentiment stamped on a punched circle of white cardstock. So simple!
