Sneak Peek: Three Handmade Valentine’s Day Cards with the Hugs for Love Bundle

Card #1: Melon Mambo Ombre

This bold and bright card highlights the stunning ombre design of the patterned paper.
Details:

• I used the Melon Mambo ombre piece of patterned paper to create the background.
• A rectangle of Melon Mambo cardstock stamped with hearts adds a tone-on-tone effect.
• I layered this with a piece of Melon Mambo patterned paper, staggered slightly for a playful look.
• The sentiment, “Sending You a Big Hug,” is punched out with the To the Point Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.
• To finish, I added Iridescent Faceted Gems for just the right amount of sparkle.

Card #2: Orange & Pink Layers

This card is a mix of vibrant layers and fun textures, perfect for spreading hugs and kisses!
Details:

• I layered two pieces of the bright orange and pink patterned paper for the background.
• The sentiment, “Lots of Hugs and Kisses,” was fussy cut for a custom look and layered over two hearts cut from the DSP.
• A piece of white baker’s twine tied into a bow adds texture, while more Iridescent Faceted Gems give it extra shine.

Card #3: Clean and Simple

For those who love the beauty of simplicity, this design uses only stamps, ink, and paper—but the impact is anything but basic!
Details:

• The card features layers of white cardstock for a crisp and clean look.
• I stamped the sentiment, “You Make Me Smile,” in Stazon Jet Black Ink for a bold, dark finish.
• Hearts stamped in Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink create pops of color that draw the eye.
