Super Sketches: Quick and Easy Handmade Cards

Sketches are a fantastic way to spark creativity, especially when you need a little inspiration. You can use the same layout and get completely different looks just by switching up the stamps and paper!

Cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

A Summer Card to Say Hello

For this first card, I used the Ocean Friends bundle and Friends of the Ocean patterned paper—both of which are now on the last chance list and available only while supplies last. I fussy cut a lobster from the patterned paper, then added stamped details with the coordinating stamp and embossed them with clear embossing powder to give the image extra pop. The soft blues and warm reds of the background paper make this a perfect summer card to send a warm hello!

A Simple Card for Encouragement

For this uplifting card, I turned to the Hot Air Balloon bundle and Everyday Skies patterned paper. The dreamy sky scenes in the patterned paper create a serene and inspiring background. I stamped the hot air balloons in Peach Pie and Balmy Blue and added an extra touch of Peach Pie with the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots. This is the perfect card to brighten someone’s day. The Hot Air Balloon bundle is on the last chance list—grab it while you can!

A Beautiful Handmade Card for a Dear Friend

This heartfelt card features the Thoughtful Wishes bundle and the Thoughtful Journey patterned paper. The watercolor nature scenes in this paper make every card feel like a tiny work of art. I stamped the sentiment “Dearest Friend” and accented the design with Textured Metallic Dots for an elegant touch. Both the stamp set and paper are on the last chance list, so if you love them as much as I do, be sure to grab them before they’re gone!

Simple Birthday Card

For my final card, I used brand-new products coming May 6! This birthday card features the Sweet Jar stamp set and coordinating punch, along with the Florals In Bloom patterned paper. I also introduced some of the new 2025-2027 In Colors: Darling Duckling, Timid Ticker, and Strawberry Slush. These fresh colors add a fun and cheerful vibe to the card, making it a perfect birthday greeting!
