Handmade Christmas card featuring the Jar of Joy stamp set, Timeless Plaid patterned paper, and a simple circle-based card sketch. Easy holiday cardmaking idea using Stampin’ Up!®️ supplies.

Christmas Cheer with Jar of Joy

For my first card, I pulled out the Jar of Joy stamp set - which, by the way, is the perfect companion to the Sweet Jar stamp set we’ll be using for the January Online Card Class. The jar image is similar, but this one includes all the little Christmas goodies that you can stamp right inside. So cute.

I paired the stamped jar with the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper to give it that warm, rustic Christmas feel. The stitched circle in Crumb Cake and the pops of Real Red make this card feel like a plate of freshly baked cookies - but with less mess.

Sweet Bugs + A Sideways Sketch Twist

For this card, I flipped the sketch sideways for a totally fresh look. The new Sweet Bugs bundle is absolutely adorable, and I couldn’t resist using the little bee sprinkling water over the die-cut flowers. It adds so much movement and whimsy.

The background features the Cute as a Bug patterned paper - full of soft greens and florals that make the bright yellow circle really pop. This version is cheerful, playful, and perfect for sending a friendly hello any time of year.

Elegant Christmas Tree with Pine Tree Trimmings

My final sample brings us back into Christmas mode with the Pine Tree Trimmings stamp set. I layered it over a piece of Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper - the pine branches and berries create such a sophisticated backdrop.

The Christmas tree is die-cut and decked out in little gold foil accents for some extra holiday shine. And that Old Olive + Pretty Peacock color combo? Classic, elegant, and so easy to recreate with this sketch.
