Use Patterned Paper for Easy Handmade Christmas Cards

Don't get me wrong, I like coloring, but sometimes, I want to make some easy cards where I don't have to color anything. Patterned paper is the perfect alternative! And the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!®️ has fantastic images that are perfect for easy Christmas Cards.

Here's the step-by-step video tutorial for one of these fun Christmas cards. I've also got some peeks at the new 2024 September-December Mini Catalog.

Merry Christmas Tag Card

You could create just the tag on this card and use it on a Christmas package, but it also works great as the focal point for this DIY Christmas card. I cut the tag from Granny Apple Green and Basic White cardstock using the Greetings of the Season dies.

I used the Reindeer Fun dies to cut out this adorable pair of reindeer from the Reindeer Days patterned paper. The tag is layered on a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock that has been embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder.

A Deer Snowman

This image is from the Reindeer Days DSP and I love how this little reindeer is creating a deer snowman! So cute!

I cut out the focal image with the Stylish Shapes dies and layered it on a piece of Basic White cardstock cut with the Deckled Circle dies. The card front is covered with two pieces of the Nests of Winter patterned paper and tied with a piece of Pool Party PomPom ribbon and Baker's Twine.

Watch Out for Deer Holiday Card

This jumping reindeer reminds me of the deer on the warning signs at the side of the road. I know these are different in different areas, but near me, they are jumping deer. I used the Reindeer Fun dies to cut this reindeer from the Reindeer Days DSP. Then, I adhered it to a piece of the Nests of Winter DSP cut with the Greetings of the Season dies. I added another piece of the Reindeer Days DSP in the background.
