If you love stamp sets that make you smile and give you lots of creative options, the Woolly Friends stamp set and punch bundle from the new 2026 January–April Mini Catalog from Stampin’ Up!® is going to be right up your alley.

For this catalog launch party, I created four very different cards using the same stamp set – from playful and pun-filled to clean and simple to sweet baby cards. I also used the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper throughout the series to show how easy it is to get a cohesive look while still changing up the style.

Below you’ll find the card I made live plus three additional ideas to stretch this bundle even further.

Woolly Friends Card Video Tutorial

In this video, I walk you through how to make the first card step by step and then share three more finished card ideas using the same products.
Supplies for these Woolly Friends Cards
Handmade card featuring three sheep created with the Woolly Friends stamp set and punch bundle from Stampin’ Up!®. Two gray sheep and one popped-up white sheep are layered over blue patterned paper from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper, with an “Ewe make me happy” sentiment and gingham ribbon accent.

Ewe Make Me Happy – Woolly Friends Card

This is the card I made during the live video, and it’s such a fun introduction to the Woolly Friends bundle. I stamped three sheep using the coordinating stamp set and punch – two gray sheep tucked into the background and one white sheep popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center.

The punch makes it quick and easy to cut out the sheep’s body, head, bell, and bow. I stamped and colored the faces separately, then layered them onto the bodies for a little extra personality.

All of the patterned paper comes from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper, which adds interest without overwhelming the stamped images. The sentiment – “Ewe make me happy” – is punched with a circle punch and layered over Balmy Blue gingham ribbon from the Easter Basket Suite. It’s from a different suite, but it coordinates beautifully here.

This is one of those cards that looks detailed but comes together quickly – perfect for mass-producing happy mail.

Clean and Simple Fab-Ewe-Lous Card with Woolly Friends

Card two is a clean and simple design with lots of white space – perfect if you like quick cards that still feel special.
I stamped a small grouping of flowers directly onto a white panel using Bubble Bath and Granny Apple Green, then added a single gray sheep. The sheep’s head is popped up to give a touch of dimension.

The sentiment “You’re simply fab-ewe-lous” is stamped underneath, and I added a Tiny Bee Trinket over the stamped butterfly, following the dotted flight trail. These bee trinkets have been around for a while, but they’re a great reminder that older embellishments can still shine on new projects.

The card layers white on white and is finished with a soft Bubble Bath patterned paper mat for a fresh, simple look.

Handmade card featuring stamped tulips from the Woolly Friends stamp set by Stampin’ Up!®. Two-step tulips in Old Olive and Strawberry Slush are stamped on a circle with a “Sending flowers & sunshine” sentiment and layered with coordinating cardstock and rick rack trim.

Sending Flowers & Sunshine – Stretching the Woolly Friends Set

For card three, I wanted to show how you can use this stamp set without the sheep at all.

The tulips in this set are a two-step stamp, which makes them fast and fun to use. I stamped a row of tulips in Old Olive and Strawberry Slush on a 2⅜" Basic White circle, then added the sentiment “Sending flowers & sunshine” underneath.

The white circle is layered onto a Strawberry Slush circle cut with the Spotlight on Nature dies, then layered again with Old Olive and Strawberry Slush patterned paper. I finished the card with Old Olive Specialty Rick Rack Trim from the Cute as a Bug Bundle. Even though it’s from a different suite, it works beautifully here and adds great texture.

This card is a perfect example of how to get more mileage out of a stamp set by looking beyond the main images.

Welcome Cutie – Sweet Woolly Friends Baby Card

The last card is a sweet baby card in Daffodil Delight and white, using one of the jumping sheep images.

Because this sheep doesn’t have a coordinating punch, I stamped it on white cardstock and created subtle contrast by coloring around the outside with a Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend, then softening it with the Color Lifter. This helps the white sheep stand out from the white background without changing the overall soft look.

I punched out the sheep’s head, added a Daffodil Delight bow, and layered the image over patterned paper from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper. A strip of Darling Duckling ribbon adds texture and ties in perfectly with the Daffodil Delight cardstock.

The sentiment “Welcome cutie” makes this an easy go-to baby card that feels sweet, soft, and handmade.
