2021-2023 In Colors from Stampin' Up! and Sneak Peek of new stamps

The new 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog won't be available for the public until May 4, but I got my hands on a few of the new products today and just couldn'twait to share them with you. If you missed it, I was live on YouTube sharing the new 2021-2023 In Colors and comparing them to other current colors and retired colors. I also shared how to use the new spiral dye stamp to create a two-tone tie-dye card design with the Party Puffins stamp set. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

New 2021-2023 In Colors from Stampin' Up! and other stamp sets from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.

Puffin Birthday Cards

For these cute puffin birthday cards I used the new Party Puffins and Spiral Dye stamp sets. I used the new In colors on all of these birthday card designs. The puffins are stamped with Jet Black Stazon ink on Basic White cardstock. I did simple watercoloring with a Water Painter and ink from the ink pads dabbed on a clear block. Normally, I wouldn't water color on Basic White cardstock, but for these cards, it is in very small areas and I used a fairly dry brush.

This first card is done in Polished Pink and Pale Papaya. I also some baker's twine from the new Baker's Twine Essentials Pack that has twine in 5 different colors: Crumb Cake, White, Black, Gray Granite, and Very Vanilla. They are hard to see, but I also added a few In Color Jewels on this card as well as other cards.

In Color Puffin Birthday Cards

Each of these puffin birthday cards was stamped with a different 2021-2023 In Color. I stamped the Spiral Dye stamp twice with each color - once at full strength and again after I'd stamped off. This gives the two slightly different colors from the same ink pad.
