If you know me, you know that I love patterns and texture and layers! Today's spring cards have all of that and more. I'm playing with patterned paper using it for a background and also doing some paper piecing.
These cards use the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set from Stampin' Up!® You can find them in the 2022 January-June Mini Catalog. These cards use lots of different cardmaking techniques. If you missed my live video, be sure to watch the replay to see exactly how these cards were made.
You'll find all the dimensions and more info below. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.
If you missed last night's Card Class & Game Night and would like the complete tutorials for these cards, including all of the cutting dimensions, you can purchase the cardmaking tutorial in my Tutorial Store.
You can also watch the replay of the Card Class & Game Night if you'd like to see how I put these cards together.
I have more photos, supply lists, and more below. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Even though it's only March, Mother's Day will be here before we know it, and the retiring Welcoming Window stamp set from Stampin' Up!® is perfect for creating handmade cards for Mom. I've had this set sitting on my shelf for a while, so I'm really happy to finally get it out and give it a play.
This stamp set will be retiring at the end of April. (You can see the full retiring list here.) Right now though, you can get the bundle of stamp set and dies for 20% through the end of March. It's great for using with the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine which is also 20% off right now.
If you missed it, be sure to watch the video tutorial to see exactly how I made these cards - especially the partial embossing technique I used to create a hint of a brick wall.
I have supply lists and dimensions below for these handmade Mother's Day cards below.
Do you have lots of scraps of patterned paper? The Bargello card making technique is perfect for using up some of your paper scraps. For this card I used the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!® along with the Your Biggest Fan stamp set.
I have more samples using this fun cardmaking technique below along with cutting dimensions and supply lists. Be sure to watch the video tutorial to see exactly how to make this handmade card.
Every Tuesday night, I'm live in my Facebook group and on YouTube with a fun cardmaking event using the supplies you have in your own stash. For the past two years, I've been doing Mystery Stamping each week. But in May, I'm going to switch things up every week:
1st Tuesday: Stamp with Me
2nd Tuesday: Technique Tuesday
3rd Tuesday: Mystery Stamping
4th Tuesday: Monthly Card Class & Game Night
5th Tuesday: Mystery Stamping
I hope you'll make plans to join me! Ok, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Have you heard of Clean and Simple Cards (or CAS cards)? This style of card making is becoming very popular. Clean and simple cards are often white, but they don't have to be. They have one focal point and are uncluttered. They give your eyes space to rest and are absolutely gorgeous!
I shared how to make some Clean and Simple cards with the All Squared Away stamp set and dies in my recent Thursday night YouTube live. These stamps are perfect for creating clean and simple cards because the squares are like mini pieces of art.
I have cutting dimensions and supply lists for the cards I demonstrated during my live, plus more sample cards using this beautiful stamp set.
