The soft dreamy colors of the rainbows on these handmade cards reminds me of the 70s. I love the pastel colors and the cloud edge made with the Basic Borders dies. And of course, there are the fun bubble letters! These summer card ideas will make you smile. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.
Handmade cards just to say hello. These cheery cards have a rainbow of soft colors. The Playful Alphabet and Basic Borders dies make easy to make with no ink!

Hello Card Design

All of these cards use the Cloud die from the Basic Borders die set. I love the way it looks like the Pale Papaya cardstock is dripping down the front of this card. I embossed the Pale Papaya with the Dots embossing folder to add a little texture.

I cut the letters from the Subtles 6" x 6" patterned paper. I adhered them to Basic White cardstock and then cut around them leaving a border. It's kind of like when you were in middle school and drew bubble letters. Y'all did that, right? Please tell me that it wasn't just me.

Handmade Card to Say Hello

This handmade card design has many of the same elements as the first design. Here, I cut 1/4" strips of Pastel 6" x 6" patterned paper and adhered them in a rainbow to a piece of Basic White cardstock. Then, I cut the end with the cloud die from the Basic Borders dies. This time, I cut the letters for hello with the Playful Alphabet dies from Calypso Coral cardstock.

This summer card design has the warm vibe of summer. The popsicles look like they are ready to drip down the page like the rainbow background. Here, I cut 1/2" strips of the Subtles 6"x6" patterned paper, glued them to Basic White cardstock, and cut the bottom with the cloud die from the Basic Borders dies. So sweet and dreamy!
