A Card Sketch for NEW Patterned Papers and Stamp Sets

We had another fabulous night of Mystery Stamping last night. I've created a card sketch of the basic layout that was used for the cards. This card sketch is perfect for using new patterned paper and stamps sets, like these from the NEW January-June 2022 Mini Catalog.

I've used the Blessings of Home, Sweet Conversations, and Artfully Layered stamp sets. They all work fabulously as would many other patterned papers and stamps. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Basic Card Sketch

This basic card sketch is great for quick and easy cards using patterned paper. Here are the cutting dimensions:

• Cardstock: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Coordinating Cardstock: 3 ¾” x 5”
• Patterned Paper: 3 ½” x 4 ¾”
• Patterned Paper: ¾” x 4 ¾”
• White or Vanilla Cardstock: Scraps for stamping

New Artfully Layered Stamp Set

My first handmade card sample uses the new Artfully Layered stamp set. This fun stamp set includes large leaves and beautiful sentiments for a variety of occasions. I also used the coordinating dies and patterned paper. I absolutely LOVE the colors in the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper. They are so vibrant! Here, I've used Pear Pizzazz and Evening Evergreen. I'm sure I will be creating a lot of handmade cards with the Artfully Composed Suite.

Sweet Conversations DIY Valentine

This fun Valentine's Day card uses the new Sweet Conversations stamp set with the Sweet Talk patterned paper. This is a great suite of products for creating handmade Valentines. Blessings of Home Birthday Card

My last sample uses the Blessings of Home stamp set with the coordinating Heart & Home patterned paper. This is a sweet handmade birthday card that was easy to make. I added a little linen thread and some new Classic Matte Dots as adornment for these lovely flowers in Pale Papaya and Cinnamon Cider.
