A Quick and Easy Card Idea for Any Patterned Paper

I love this quick and easy card idea because it lets you show off both sides of any patterned paper. Plus, it's so simple to make. I've used some NEW stamps and papers from the August-December Mini Catalog and the Fall 2021 Sale-A-Bration brochure to make these fun card samples! So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Cutting dimensions for this simple card design

Here is the paper that you will need to cut for this fun card idea:

• Cardstock: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
• Coordinating cardstock: 5” x 3 ¾”
• White or Vanilla cardstock: 4 ¾” x 3 ½”
• Patterned Paper: 4 ¾” x 3 ½”
• White or Vanilla cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”

My first sample uses the new Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper and Clever Cats stamp set from the August-December Mini Catalog.

Putting this handmade card together

We made this card for last night's Mystery Stamping event in my Facebook group. I hold this FREE card-making event every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm Eastern. Begin by cutting the piece of pattern paper in half diagonally. Take the upper right triangle and cut again straight down from the point to the longest side. Then, take the smallest triangle, flip it over, and glue it to the upper left corner of the cardstock. Glue the largest triangle to the lower left.
