Do you ever get new stamps and you aren't quite sure what to do with them? I find that using a simple card sketch can help when you're playing with a new stamp set or patterned paper. And I have a great one for you today!

I used this card sketch as the basis for my Mystery Stamping event this week. It was so much fun seeing what everyone came up with! I recently swapped cards with other demonstrators using the NEW Heart & Home Suite of products which includes the Blessings of Home stamp set. This first sample is the one that I made, but I have lots and lots more handmade card ideas to share. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

This card uses a Mint Macaron card base. I embossed the Heart & Home patterned paper with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder to give it more texture. I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored them with Gray Granite, Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya, and So Saffron. I used the light Gray Granite Stampin' Blend to draw around the outside before cutting it with the dies. This helped the white flowers to really pop.

One of my favorite new stamp sets from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog is the Artfully Layered stamp set along with the coordinating dies and patterned paper.
