Beary Cute Handmade Cards for the October Online Card Class

The October online card class featured the Beary Cute stamp set and coordinating paper punch. This is such a cute stamp set and is perfect for Christmas cards or other winter crafting.

Wintery Christmas Card

I love these two little polar bears on the front of this Christmas card. It looks like one just arrived to spend Christmas with the other because Christmas is better together. 

I stamped the trees in Soft Sea Foam with a edge in black. Then, I added snowflakes with Balmy Blue. The sentiment is stamped on a piece cut with the Nested Essentials dies. My favorite basic die set! After stamping the bears with Tuxedo Black Memento, I colored them with the light Gray Granite Stampin' Blend around the edges and went over it with the Color Lifter to lighten it even more.

Fun Fold Gift Card Holder

Now that my kids are grown, I seem to give a lot of gift cards for Christmas and I love to have special handmade gift card holders to put them in!

Here is the fun fold gift card holder that we made during the October Online Card Class. This card is so easy to make with patterned paper on the front. The card opens to reveal a place to tuck a gift card on the bottom and a place to write a message at the top. 

To help keep the card closed without needing an envelope (although it will fit in an envelope if you prefer!), there is a simple belly band with two little polar bears on the front.

Simple Handmade Christmas Card

I love the way the Walk in the Woods patterned paper coordinates with the Beary Cute paper punch. I punched this bear directly from the patterned paper. Then, I added a few stamped trees behind him. If you have the Merriest Trees dies, you can use those to die-cut the trees from the patterned paper and use those instead!
