Beautiful Floral Cards with Wild Wheat and the Stippled Roses Stamp Set

Wait... do I love Wild Wheat? I think I might be starting to. It certainly has grown on me. I can say without a doubt that Wild Wheat was my least favorite of the 2023-2025 In Colors from Stampin' Up!®️ But the more I use it, the more I love it!

Wild Wheat is one of the primary colors in the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper. This gorgeous patterned paper coordinates with the Stippled Roses stamp set and is available for FREE during Sale-a-Bration 2024 with a $50 order. Don't wait though, because Sale-a-Bration ends February 29!

Video Tutorial for a Beautiful Floral Card

Here's the video tutorial for a beautiful floral card using the Stippled Roses stamp set and the Softly Stippled patterned paper.

Floral Thank You Card

For this beautiful floral thank you card, I stamped the large rose image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Then, I colored it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Calypso Coral and Wild Wheat. 

I colored around the outside of the stamped image with a Pool Party Stampin' Blend and I went over with a color lifter. This helped the image blend with the Pool Party background.

I cut out the stamped image with the coordinating dies. Then, I adhered it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Wild Wheat Congratulations Card

This is the card that made me stop and ask myself if I was falling in love with Wild Wheat. There is just something about the look of the Wild Wheat with the Calypso Coral flowers. The Calypso Coral just pops!

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Basic White cut with the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered this to a piece of the Softly Stippled patterned paper and trimmed the edge. Then, I added leaves and flowers cut with the Stippled Roses dies.

Floral Congratulations Card

The flowers on this card look somewhat different than the flowers on the first card. For this card, I stamped the floral image with Pebbled Path ink instead of Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Because it is lighter and not permanent, it smudges out more when color is added with Stampin' Blends. 

I added die-cut leaves under the stamped images. The leaves were cut from Wild Wheat and vellum. Then, I added some opaque gems. 

Sweet Floral Birthday Card

Here is a sweet floral birthday card! I started by cutting a piece of the Softly Stippled patterned paper with the Nested Essentials dies.

I added die-cut leaves and flowers cut from Pool Party and Wild Wheat cardstock with the Stippled Roses dies. I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it out. Then, I added it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I finished the card off with some of the Opaque Gems. These are another Sale-A-Bration freebie!
