Beautiful Handmade Cards with the Darling Details Stamp Set

Have you seen the new Darling Details stamp set? If you're anything like me, you might have breezed right past it in the Stampin' Up!®️ Annual Catalog. But, it is an amazing stamp set! It's a Two-Step Stampin' set which means that two stamps are used to make an image allowing you to create a multi-colored image without coloring. And in this stamp set, the images are easy to line up! Plus, this set has a variety of sentiments for every occasion. Seriously, it's a great stamp set for first-time stampers!

Video Tutorial for this Darling Details Floral Card

Here's the replay of the video tutorial for my floral handmade cards using the Darling Details stamp set. I shared a lot of tips along the way, so you won't want to miss it!

Floral Birthday Card in Brown and Pink

There is something so sweet about a brown and pink color combination - like Neapolitan ice cream! For all of these cards, I used Petal Pink with Pecan Pie and a little Calypso Coral. 

For this simple floral birthday card, I started by adding a little Petal Pink ink to the Glorious Gingham patterned paper with a blending brush. The lace piece was cut with the Darling Details dies that coordinate with the stamp set. So, so sweet!

Another Floral Birthday Card

the frame on this card was cut from Pecan Pie cardstock using the Darling Details dies. That is the only die that I used on this handmade birthday card though. 

I simply stamped the flowers from the Darling Details stamp set in Petal Pink and Calypso Coral. Then, I added leaves in Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea Foam. I love the way the leaves in this stamp set fit under the flowers!

Floral Thank You Card

For this floral thank you card, I used a piece of the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper in the background. This patterned paper fits in perfectly with the Petal Pink and Calypso Coral color combination. 

to make the pink pop a little more, I added some flowers in Daffodil Delight. Like the leaves, the daisy-like flowers in this set are only half so that you can easily stamp them next tot he rose-like flowers without having to do any masking. This focal point was so easy to make! When I was done, I cut it out with the Nested Essentials dies.
