Bright, Bold Floral Cards for Spring!

Who's ready for spring?!? I certainly am! Since it doesn't quite feel like spring outside, I made some bright, bold floral cards to match my spring wishes. I used the Flower Cart stamp set with the NEW Flowering Zinnias patterned paper from Stampin' Up!®️

Sweet Spring Flower Cart Card

Here is a sweet spring card featuring a cart filled with flowers. I started by stamping the wheels of the flower cart and then worked my way up from there. 

To create the different colored flowers, I used Stampin' Write markers to color directly on the flower stamp. Since these four different flowers are all on one stamp, you can use an inkpad to stamp them all in the same color. But, I wanted different colored flowers. So, I colored each one with a marker and then stamped. 

I added a few clouds in the background just for some extra depth on the card. 

Floral Birthday Card for Spring

While I love the flower cart images in the Flower Cart stamp set, I love that you can use the flowers all on their own as well. So, for this handmade birthday card, I featured just the flowers.

I stamped three little pots of flowers and layered them on Lemon Lolly rectangles cut with the Nested Essentials dies. Then, I layered the images on a piece of the Flowering Zinnias patterned paper.

I love the bright and bold look of this pattern on this paper. The scale really contrasts with the smaller flowers in the focal point. 

Happy Hello Handmade Note Card

This might be my favorite of this bunch of handmade cards for spring. I love the purple and green together. 

I started by layering two pieces of the Flowering Zinnias patterned paper. Then, I cut them out with the Nested Essentials dies. I added stamped and die-cut flowers, pots, and the sign on the patterned paper.

For the card base, I added a second piece of Highland Heather cardstock that I embossed with the NEW Fun Patterns embossing folders.

Handmade Mother's Day Card

Here's a sweet handmade Mother's Day card in Lemon Lolly and Lemon Lime Twist. For this card, I created a die-cut cart with the Flower Cart dies. Then, I added pots of flowers in Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo, and Blackberry Bliss.

Like some of the other cards, I tied a piece of the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack to this card for another pop of the Lemon Lolly.

What a sweet card this would be to send to your mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, or favorite other mother in your life! She'd really know how special she was to you.
