I love looking at quilts. When I walk into a fabric store, I marvel at the beautiful fabrics and imagine that I could stitch them together into a gorgeous masterpiece. And then I think about how many hours that would take and I go home. lol.

Luckily, patterned paper is as beautiful as fabric and you can cut strips of it and glue them together just like a quilt - but faster! One of the reasons that I love cardmaking is the instant gratification of being able to quickly create a card.

I love the shades of orange in this miss you card idea using the Delicate Desert patterned paper! Plus, by adding in the Dry Brushed Metallic paper, there are accents of gold on this beautiful handmade card.

For the sentiment, I turned to the Hello Beautiful stamp set. Something about saying "I miss your face" always cracks me up.
