Christmas Card Ideas with Whimsical Trees

The Whimsy and Wonder suite is perfect for making Christmas Cards in somewhat non-traditional colors! I love the light green and pink as well as the blue and pink in these fun holiday card designs.

A Christmas Card Idea with Presents

My first card uses a piece of the Whimsy & Wonder patterned paper that is covered with presents. I love the iridescent accents on this gorgeous paper!

I wrapped a piece of Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon around the front and added a tag with a Christmas tree and sentiment. The added bow and take make it look like it is wrapped up like a Christmas present itself. 

The Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder on the Mint Macaron cardstock adds a little more texture. 

Christmas card or winter card idea

While this was designed as a Christmas card in non-traditional colors, it could be used as a general thinking of you type card. The sentiment, "Let your heart be light," lends itself to different occasions. Would you use this design for a different season?

The background is Pool Party cardstock with a piece that has been embossed with the Dots embossing folder. I added a piece of Sweet Stockings patterned paper to create a soft plaid background. The color works beautifully with the Blushing Bride snowflake paper from the Whimsy & Wonder patterned paper.

Fun fold card idea for Christmas

This fun fold card design is easy to make. I love the simplicity of the Tidings of Christmas patterned paper. The red and greens of the patterned paper is perfect for Christmas, but would work for other seasons as well. The Wonderful Snowflake embellishment and Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon accent the embossed sentiment on the front of this bridge card.
