Clean and Simple Cards with the Artfully Layered Stamp Set

While I love patterned paper and bright colors, sometimes, I like to make clean and simple cards - or CAS cards. They are just so calm and minimalist while still being beautiful! 

My customer thank you cards for this month are a clean and simple card using the Artfully Layered stamp set and coordinating Tropical Layers dies from Stampin' Up!® I have the best customers! How to Make this Clean and Simple Card

This clean and simple (CAS) card is so easy to make! In the stamp set there is a fabulous stamp that is of text that is faded in areas. I have no idea what it says! It looks like it might be Latin. But, it is perfect for adding texture to images and die-cuts.

I started by stamping this stamp with Just Jade ink on Just Jade cardstock. Then, I cut out the leaf die-cut. I also stamped the sentiment with Just Jade ink on Basic White and trimmed around it with my paper snips.

Cutting Dimensions for this Thank You Card Design

Basic White Thick: 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"
Basic White: 2" x 3", embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder
Vellum: 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Just Jade (leaf): 3 1/4" x 2 1/2"
Basic White scrap for sentiment

I added a piece of the White 3/4" Frayed ribbon under the image and sentiment. Then, to finish this CAS card off, I added three of the Classic Matte Dots in white.
