Create Gift Tags from Patterned Paper Scraps

I have lots of scraps of patterned paper left over from Christmas cards, so I decided to make up a bunch of gift tags. This is also a great way to use up extra die-cut pieces and bits of ribbon.

I primarily used the Peaceful Place and Whimsy & Wonder patterned papers from Stampin' Up! I created a number of bases for the tags and then decorated them with this and that. 

So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Each of these tags uses the Tailor Made Tag dies for the base. I adhered small strips of patterned paper to cardstock and then cut the tags. This way the faux stitching on the edges is on the patterned paper as well as the cardstock.

Elegant Gift Tag Designs

I used Smoky Slate cardstock and Peaceful Place patterned paper for the base of these tags. I added Wonderful Snowflake embellishments, poinsettias made with the Merriest Moments stamps and dies, and the "to" and "from" stamps from the Delivering Cheer stamp set. 

Whimsical Christmas Gift Tags

My second set of tags uses the Whimsy & Wonder patterned paper on Blushing Bride cardstock. I added images and die-cuts from the Whimsical Trees stamp set and coordinating dies. I also added some holly and berries made with the Christmas Season stamp set and a sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamps.
