Cutting Dimensions for this Simple Card Design

This card design is so simple to make, especially when used with patterned paper! I also embossed the cardstock layer to add extra texture to the cards. Whether you just want to add a sentiment to the front or an image, this design will work for both and all sorts of occasions in addition to Christmas cards!

Easy Christmas Card Idea

This easy Christmas card idea uses the Heartwarming Hugs patterned paper and the Delivering Cheer stamp set. I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I love how easy it is to do shading with the Stampin' Blends! A little silver cord under the image adds just a hint of bling to this holiday card.

Simple Holiday Card Idea

The Tidings of Christmas patterned paper is beautiful for all sorts of holiday cards, or use the simple patterns for other occasions as well! I added a simple bow made of Linen Thread under the sentiment circle to coordinate with the somewhat rustic look of the paper.

Elegant Sympathy Card Idea

I used this same simple card design to create an elegant sympathy card. The Blackberry Beauty patterned paper is simply elegant all on its own. It has gorgeous gold accents on one side! I used a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and added a few gilded gems for a little extra bling to tie into the gold accents on the patterned paper.
