Cheerful Daisies Card with Wet Stamping Technique

My first sample card using this easy card-making technique features the Cheerful Daisies stamp set from Stampin' Up!®️ To do the technique, start by brushing water all over a piece of Fluid 100 Water Color Paper. Then, ink your stamp and stamp as normal.

The colors will run and mush together. As the paper begins to dry, the images will retain more and more of their details creating a beautifully varied look. I stamped the detail image after the water color paper was nearly dry to give a crisper image.

Zesty Handmade Birthday Card

For this handmade card, I used the Sweet Citrus stamp set. I started by stamping the lemon wedges in Lemon Lolly when the paper was very wet. Then, I stamped the limes in Lemon Lime Twist. Finally, I stamped limes again in Daffodil Delight to help them pop more.

Gorgeously Made Card with the Wet Stamping Technique

My last sample handmade card using the wet stamping technique uses the NEW Gorgeously Made stamp set with the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper.

I started by stamping leaves in Berry Burst. Then I stamped the distressed words stamp with Pretty Peacock. Over this abstract background, I added a die-cut leaf that I cut from Pretty Peacock with the Gorgeously Made dies.

I'm loving this new Masterfully Made suite and we'll be using it for the May online card class in a couple weeks!
