Easy Card Making Technique with Patterned Paper

The scrappy strip card making technique is so quick and easy to do. And so much fun too! I love being able to show off beautiful patterned paper like the Painted Christmas and Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper.

Fun DIY Christmas Cards

This card making technique is perfect for fun Christmas cards. The card above uses the Painted Christmas patterned paper while the card to the right uses the Heartwarming Hugs patterned paper.

Both cards use the fabulous Christmas to Remember stamp set. These stamps provide so many wonderful holiday sentiments!

Just cut strips of patterned paper and adhere them to cardstock to create the background. It's as simple as that!

•Same Colored Cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”
•Same Colored Cardstock: 2 5/8” x 2 1/8”
•Coordinating Cardstock: 3” x 2 ½”
•Coordinating Patterned Papers: (5 strips) 1 ¼” x 5”
•White or Vanilla Cardstock: 2 ½” x 2”
•White or Vanilla Cardstock: 5 ¼” x 4”

This last sample uses the Daffodil Afternoon patterned paper, also available FREE with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration 2022. I added a simple greeting from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set.
