Easy Cards to Make with a Card Sketch and Patterned Paper

Here is a super easy card to make using patterned paper and Versamark ink. I have samples using the NEW Splendid Thought stamp set from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog as well as the He's All That, Quiet Meadow, and Peaceful Moments stamp sets from Stampin' Up!®

Simple Cardmaking Sketch

This simple card sketch is great for making quick and easy cards. Here are the supplies that you will need:

• Cardstock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Cardstock: 5 1/4" x 4"
• Patterned Paper: 2 ½” x 4 ½”
• Coordinating cardstock: 2 5/8” x 4 5/8”
• White or vanilla cardstock: die-cut or punched label or tag
• White or vanilla cardstock: 5 1/4" x 4"
• Versamark ink
• Ribbon
• Adhesives & Stampin' Dimensionals

Quiet Meadow Thinking of You Card Idea

My first card idea uses the Quiet Meadow stamp set and coordinating dies. I combined this with the new Texture Chic patterned paper from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

This color combination is a little different. I used the colors from the patterned paper and combined Petal Pink, Mango Melody, and Distressed Gold. What do you think?

This card would be perfect for an anniversary card or even a card for your bestie as the sentiment says: Every day with you is another adventure. 

I used the new He's All That stamp set, dies, and coordinating He's the Man patterned paper for this card. Simply stamp the cardstock layer with Versamark ink. Then, add the patterned paper panel and the sentiment.

Splendid Thoughts Card Design

Here's a sneak peek of the NEW Splendid Day suite from Stampin' Up!'s 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. It includes the Splendid Thoughts stamp set and dies and the Splendid Day patterned paper. While I used the plain side of the paper, all of the papers in this pack are special foil papers on one side. They are absolutely gorgeous and you are going to love them!

Easy Birthday Card Idea

This birthday card was so quick and easy to make! I used a couple of different stamp sets - the Blessings of Home and Peaceful Moments sets from Stampin' Up! I used the Blessings of Home for the background flowers and the Peaceful Moments for the sentiment.

This beautiful patterned paper is the new Awash in Beauty paper from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I love the watercolor images on the paper!
