Easy Cross Cut Cards with Lots of Samples

For last night's Mystery Stamping, we made this really easy and fun card that can show off Designer Series Paper or even your own stamped background. Let's get stamping.

Cardstock Dimensions:
Any color cardstock:

8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
4” x 4”

Whisper White or Vanilla cardstock:

Piece cut as a rectangle, square, circle, or another shape.

Designer Series Paper: 4” x 5 ¼”

Directions:

Fold the piece of 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" cardstock on the score line to create the card base.
Adhere the Designer Series paper to the card front.
Cut the piece of 4" x 4" cardstock in half. You'll notice from my samples, that you can cut it any which way. It wouldn't even have to be a straight line!
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the two pieces on top of the DSP leaving a gap in the middle.
Add a stamped shape to the front, crossing the gap area.

This star card uses the new Magenta Madness cardstock and a piece of the Flowers for Every Season DSP. The stars are cut from Bumblebee cardstock with the Stitched Stars dies while the circle is cut with the Stitched Shapes dies. The greeting is from the Here's a Card stamp set and is stamped in Magenta Madness.
