Easy Handmade Thank You Card

I love the soft color combination of Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, and Soft Sea Foam. I don't use Very Vanilla cardstock nearly has often as I use Basic White, but it was perfect for continuing the soft tone of this color combination.

I stepped up this card with a little die-cutting using the Nested Essentials dies, but you could easily just use a rectangle of Very Vanilla without die-cutting it. Then, Just stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and stamp the splotches in the other colors.

Super Simple Birthday Card

Here is the super simple handmade birthday card that I shared on the video tutorial. I used the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper on this card. But, because I was using Very Vanilla for the focal point, I needed to eliminate the white on the patterned paper. So, I used a blending brush to add a little Pool Party to the Pretty Peacock patterned paper.

Then, I stamped some splotches and dots, added a sentiment, and finished with a leaf image. So simple!

Stamp Your Own Background Paper

Here's another simple card design for you with the Timeless Charm stamp set. To created the dotted background paper for this card, I simply stamped the dots from the stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on Lost Lagoon cardstock. Because I knew that I would be layering a larger piece on top of it, I only stamped around the edges.

For the focal point, I used a die-cut leaf. I added an adhesive sheet to the back of the Lost Lagoon cardstock before die-cutting the leaf. This made it super easy to adhere the leaf to the card front.
