Today, I have a quick and easy fun fold card to share with you. Every Tuesday night, I host Mystery Stamping on my Facebook Group. Last night, we made easel cards. There were a couple of mishaps because the stampers had no idea what they were making, but this is actually a simple card to make. So, on y go! Let's get stamping. Country Home Easel CardFor this card, I used the Country Home stamp set. I stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I sued Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, and Soft Soft. I added texture to the puffs of cotton with some white puff paint. We carried this in last year's mini-catalog and I absolutely love the look of it for the cotton puffs. Sadly, it isn't in this year's catalog but I just couldn't resist adding a little of it. If you'd like to know more, here is a blog post and video I made with the puff paint last year. The piece of 8 1/2" x 3" cardstock is folded in half and adhered to the 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base before adhering the patterned paper. This way the back of that flap is under the patterned paper and doesn't show. Then, the stamped image is adhered to the bottom half of the piece of 8 1/2" x 3" cardstock under the fold. The sentiment is attached using Stampin' Dimensionals so that the easel can rest against it.
