Easy easel cards using the Country Home and Coming Home stamp sets from Stampin' Up! Easy card making ideas to create fun fold cards.
Today, I have a quick and easy fun fold card to share with you. Every Tuesday night, I host Mystery Stamping on my Facebook Group. Last night, we made easel cards. There were a couple of mishaps because the stampers had no idea what they were making, but this is actually a simple card to make. So, on y go! Let's get stamping.

Cutting Dimensions for a Simple Easel Card

These are the dimensions I used for the floral card:
Colored Cardstock:
  • 8 ½” x 3”, scored at 4 ¼” and 2 1/8”
  • 5 ½” x 4 ¼”
  • 2 ¾” x 1 ¾”
Patterned Paper: 5 ¼” x 4”
Coordinating Cardstock: 2 ¾” x 4”
White or Vanilla Cardstock:
  • 2 ½” x 3 ¾”
  • 2 ½” x 1 ½”

Country Home Easel Card

For this card, I used the Country Home stamp set. I stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I sued Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, and Soft Soft. I added texture to the puffs of cotton with some white puff paint. We carried this in last year's mini-catalog and I absolutely love the look of it for the cotton puffs. Sadly, it isn't in this year's catalog but I just couldn't resist adding a little of it. If you'd like to know more, here is a blog post and video I made with the puff paint last year.

The piece of 8 1/2" x 3" cardstock is folded in half and adhered to the 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base before adhering the patterned paper. This way the back of that flap is under the patterned paper and doesn't show. Then, the stamped image is adhered to the bottom half of the piece of 8 1/2" x 3" cardstock under the fold. The sentiment is attached using Stampin' Dimensionals so that the easel can rest against it.

Coming Home Easel Card

My second card uses the Coming Home bundle from the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog. I used the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper as the backdrop. Like the Country Home card, I stamped the images using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I used Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Highland Heather, Crumb Cake, and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the house image and cut it with the coordinating dies. The Home Together Dies also have these awesome snowscape/landscape dies for the bottom of your stamped scene. There is one with pine trees, which is what I used, and another without trees. I adhered this to my front panel. Then, I added the house image over top.

I love the way this card has a greeting on the front and as the easel stand. The sentiments come from the Tree Angle stamp set.

Hi Heidi, I just watched a fun fold tutorial you did, copied the directions turned the computer off only to see what I had printed did not have the picture of the finished. I did not print that page for some reason. I have searched the deleted items on our computer and can not locate it. Can you help me? It used the bird ballad paaaaaper, used an 8 1/2 by ll piece of card stock, scored 5 1/2 turned the paper the opposite way and scored 2 1/8 and 6 3/8. On the inside you used the vase builder punch to decorate it. Canyou tell me how to get this up on the computer again so I can see the picture. I guess this a tall order Heidi but I hope you can help me. Sue . [email protected]
