Easy Fun Fold Card with a Split Front

I love an easy fun fold card that doesn't use a lot of extra cardstock! And this split front card definitely fits the bill. You simply start with a 4 1/4" x 11" card base. Then, you cut the card front and use the pieces to create the split front that you see on the front of the card. So simple!

Fun Fold Thank You Card

I used the split front card design to create a pair of simple thank you cards with the NEW Spotlight on Nature stamp set and coordinating dies from Stampin' Up!®️  

My first handmade thank you card is in Smoky Slate and Petal Pink. I used the NEW Country Lace patterned paper for this card front. 

I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored them with Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends. Then, I cut the flowers out with Paper Snips. The Spotlight on Nature dies cut out really cool circles, but they don't cut out the stamped images.

Split Front Thank You Card

This fun fold thank you card uses the same layout as the first card. But, I used the large leaf image instead of the tulips. I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink again and then colored one leaf with Summer Splash and the other with Shy Shamrock Stampin' Blends. 

The patterned paper for this card is the NEW 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper. Each year Stampin' Up! creates a new set of patterns that are offered in every color collection. I absolutely LOVE this year's patterns!
