Easy Scrapbooking and Cardmaking with Craft Kits

Video Tutorial for this Craft Kit

For this week's Thursday Night Live, I shared my completed scrapbook that I made with the Love this Memory scrapbooking kit. I also made a couple of cards using items from the kit. If you missed it, check out the video replay.

A Quick and Easy Smash Book

The Love This Memory kit has an adorable stamp set with sentiments that are perfect for a fun summer scrapbook. It also has some cardstock stickers like the file tab, smiley, and hearts on this first page. 

I used Stampin' Seal to adhere the photos to the pages, but you could just use the holographic washi tape included in the kit. I used a piece at the top of this photo for a fun effect.

There are also two sheets of sticker letters and printed cardstock pieces that I used to decorate the pages.

An Easy Handmade Card from a Craft Kit

I used nearly all of the pages in the mini notebook that comes in the Love This Memory kit and I had lots of supplies left over! So, I pulled out some coordinating cardstock to create a couple of quick cards. 

There are two sheets of white cardstock stickers in the kit. I used one of the ovals from these sheets to stamp the sentiment on this card. While the craft kit comes with a Parakeet Party ink spot, I pulled out my Tahitian Tide ink pad to stamp the sentiment.

Another Fun Handmade Card

Here's another fun handmade card that I used with some pieces I had left in the card kit. This fun smiley face is one of the cardstock pieces in the kit. I stamped the sentiment around the smiley which is one of the ideas from the instructions in the Love This Memory Kit.

I also stamped the flowers on the cardstock for the background. This is one of the stamps in the Love This stamp set included with the kit.
