Easy to Make Mother's Day Gift

I can hardly believe it's spring and Mother's Day is right around the corner! Mother's can be hard to shop for, especially mothers who seem to have everything already. Here is a fabulous gift idea for Mom or anyone. A little patterned paper, like the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper, a great greeting set like the Happy Thoughts stamp set, some dies, and a pack of note cards and envelopes make it quick and easy to pull together a fabulous gift for Mom.

This month, we've each chosen which patterned paper to use, so you are going to see lots of ideas with lots of beautiful patterned paper. The Card Designs

The note cards and envelopes come pre-cut and scored. When folded, they are 3 1/2" x 5", so I added a piece of patterned paper to the front of each one that is 3 1/4" x 4 3/4". I cut the labels for the sentiments with the Tasteful Labels dies.

The star of the show, are the fabulous floral dies cut with the NEW Meadow dies. These will be in the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and you are going to love them! The gorgeous silhouettes are perfect for adding over simple patterned paper for a quick and easy card. 

Simple Floral Note cards 

The Happy Thoughts stamp set is filled with fabulous greetings for both the outside and the inside of your cards. They are big and bold so they work fabulously on the front of these note cards.

The Meadow dies coordinate with the Quiet Meadow stamp set. I used the set to add some speckles and a flower to the envelopes.

Gift Box for these floral Note cards

While the Acetate Card Boxes will fit full-sized cards, they also work perfectly for the note cards and envelopes. I tucked five inside this package.

I wrapped the box in patterned paper to match the cards. The wrapper is 5 1/2" x 12" and I scored it at 3", 3 5/8", 8 1/8", 8 3/4". I colored some Crinkle Seam Binding with a Highland Heather Stampin' Blend and tied it around the front of the box. I cut the "NOTES" label with the Playful Alphabet dies.
