Fabulous Fun Fold Cards: Circle Tab Gift Card Holder

We created these fabulous fun fold gift card holders for this week's Stamp with Me Tuesday. They have a circle at the top where you can stamp a sentiment or an image and a top flap that folds over the circle. Then, when you open the fun fold card, there is a place inside to tuck a gift card. 

Using patterned paper like the Hues of Happiness, Abigail Rose or Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!® makes these fun fold cards easy to make! However, you could also stamp images or add additional decoration like I did with the cards using the Sweet Songbirds and Happiness Abounds stamp sets.

Sweet Songbirds told me this Fun Fold Card is Easy to Make

For my first sample card, I used the NEW Sweet Songbirds stamp set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. I also used the Design a Daydream patterned paper. This is a super-sized pack of patterned paper with 48 sheets that you can get for only $18 when you host a private class, workshop, or place a $150 order. It is so pretty and versatile! I'm sure I will be making a ton of projects with it!

For this card, I decided to do a little extra stamping. Instead of putting a sentiment on the circle, I stamped the bird there and added the sentiment below. I also stamped another bird and a branch on the inside of the card. 

These little birds are so adorable! We'll be using this fabulous stamp set for the June Online Card Class & Game Night.  I hope you'll make plans to join me!

Easy Fun Fold Card with Patterned Paper

For this card, I only stamped the sentiments. Everything else is just the gorgeous Abigail Rose patterned paper. This paper is so pretty in Soft Suede, Petal Pink, and Crumb Cake.

The flowers on this Soft Suede patterned paper are just white. I used my Petal Pink and light Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends alcohol markers to add a little pink to the delicate blossoms. 

You can see how easy it is to tuck a gift card inside this easy fun fold card. But, you could tuck other things in there as well like cash, concert tickets, a photo, or something else that is fairly flat.

Happiness Abounds with this Fun Fold Card

I used the Happiness Abounds stamp set and Hues of Happiness patterned paper from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog to create this pretty spring card. I think it would be perfect for a wedding card or even a graduation or new baby. 

I added a die-cut flower to the front that I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Pool Party and Granny Apple Green.

On the inside, I added an extra strip of the patterned paper to the top of the card for a little extra decoration. I added the congratulations sentiment from this same Happiness Abounds set which leaves lots of room to write a personal message as well.
